I’m tired of seeing women stuck in the never ending cycle of cardio and 1200 calorie diets, thinking its the only way they can change their bodies…

It’s not and it never was

If you told me 15 years ago I’d be coaching women through strength and nutrition from my garage gym, I’d have laughed. But here I am, 53, doing exactly that starting something new… again.

At 36, I found CrossFit, and honestly, it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I loved the challenge, the strength, the community, all of it. Back then, I didn’t think too much about food. I just ate what I wanted but kept the sugar low, and it worked… until one day, it didn’t.

In 2010, I launched a fitness equipment business and eventually opened my own CrossFit gym. I spent years helping people find the same kind of strength and confidence I had found. But then COVID hit, and like a lot of small gyms, we had to close. That one hurt.

After that, I kept training from my garage gym, still doing the same high-intensity stuff I loved, but my body started fighting me. The weight stuck around, my energy dropped, recovery took longer. Suddenly everything I used to do stopped working.

So I changed. I slowed things down. I focused on real strength (fewer burpees, more barbells). I learned how to fuel my body with purpose instead of restriction. I dove into education, getting certified in strength training and macro nutrition. I wanted to understand what was happening, and help other women do the same.

Now, that’s exactly what I do. I help midlife women build muscle, eat for their goals, and feel at home in their bodies again. NO extremes, NO guilt, NO “starting over” every Monday.

If you relate let’s talk.
